Today is a puzzle. For some, pieces are coming together. For others, pieces are falling apart.
Today someone is getting their dream job. Today someone is being let go from a job they needed.
Today someone is getting married. Today someone is getting divorced.
Today justice is being served. Today injustice is being handed out.
Today someone lives in celebration. Today someone lives in deep sorrow.
Today someone is being praised. Today someone is being bullied.
Today someone is saying ‘I LOVE you’ for the first time. Today someone is saying goodbye for the last time.
Today is fragile. Today is strong.
Today offers you 24 precious hours, 1,440 LOVING minutes, and 86,400 hopeful seconds. How will you spend your day?
Moving forward, I invite you to…
LIVE your today knowing of its fragility, its LOVE, its grace, its imperfection.
LIVE your today with an open heart, an open mind, and open arms to be your best today and even better tomorrow.
LIVE your today in a state of gratitude for the smallest of small things in your life and grow deeper gratitude from there.
LIVE your today by sharing your smile, a kind word, or a kind action with others. You might find out that kind smile, word, or action you gave was exactly what YOU needed to receive for yourself… the gift of giving.
LIVE your today by reaching out to those important to you. A quick text, an email, a letter, a phone call. Just something to let others know you are thinking of them, and they matter to you.
LIVE your today by being courageous and brave to be YOU and not what others expect of you.
LIVE your today by realizing you can’t get it back. Tomorrow may look very similar, and yet it is different, so cherish today.
Mostly, my wish for you is to realize that every moment you are here is special, YOU are special and are so very worthy of – Living Boldly, LOVING Deeply, Laughing Loudly, Hugging Intently, and Smile brightly!
Until next time, today is calling, will you answer?
Affirmation:
Today I will live with an open heart, an open mind, and with open arms.

“Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now; we are okay. Right now today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
