Getting to Know You

I recently posted a question on my Facebook page asking how you know me and invited you to share a happy moment. Reading the responses brought me so much joy. It stirred up good memories and reminded me just how many different ways connection shows up in our lives.

My profile page is public, which means many people follow along whom I have never met in person. Seeing their responses reminded me that connection does not require proximity. Sometimes it starts with a shared moment, a kind word, or simply feeling seen. That post became an unexpected opportunity to reconnect.

Whether it is people you see every day, casual friendships, longtime relationships, or online connections, connections matter; they help us navigate this beautiful and messy world together. It reminds us that we are not doing life alone.

Connection with others matters, and so does connection with yourself. When you stay connected to your hopes and dreams, you remember what matters to you. When you acknowledge your fears instead of avoiding them, you give yourself the chance to move through them with awareness and care. That kind of self-connection strengthens every other connection in your life.

I would love to know how we are connected. Email me and let me know how our paths crossed or what brought you here. I truly enjoy hearing the stories behind the connection

Moving forward, I invite you to find connection by:

Reaching out to someone you have been thinking about.
A quick text or message can remind you both that the connection still matters.

Being fully present when you are with others.

Listening without planning your response creates space for real connection.

Checking in with yourself throughout the day.

Notice how you feel and what you need in that moment.

Allowing yourself to be part of a community in whatever way feels right.

Showing up, participating, or simply witnessing all count.

Connection builds community, and community gives us strength. It helps us feel supported, understood, and less alone. When we stay connected to ourselves and to one another, we move through life with more compassion, clarity, and courage.

If you are feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply craving more connection in your life, you do not have to figure it out alone. Sometimes a small shift in awareness can open the door to feeling more grounded and more connected to yourself and others. Consider booking a discovery session.
