Some days, the headlines stop me in my tracks. The pain and injustice in the world are very real, and I allow myself to feel the sadness, anger, or fear that comes up. I do my best to limit my intake of news so I can stay informed without becoming overwhelmed. I do not ignore what is happening, but I also remember that I have a choice in how I respond. I may not be able to change everything, but I can focus on creating a world filled with kindness, compassion, hugs, and hope.
The same is true for personal struggles. Even in difficult moments, hope is available to grab onto and walk with you as you navigate the hard parts of life.
Moving forward, I invite you nurture hope by:
Catching moments of joy.
Notice the little things that bring you happiness or peace, like a kind word, a smile, or a quick break.

Inviting love in.
Be gentle with yourself when things feel hard. Remind yourself that love is right there to grab onto. It’s available during your celebrations, sorrows, and struggles.
Creating a daily practice.
Whether it is journaling, meditation, or a gratitude list, find a way to invite hope into your daily life.
Hope is something we choose every day. It helps us focus on love, healing, and connection, even when life feels heavy. While we cannot control everything around us, we can decide how we show up in our own lives and for others. My Hugs Mission supports positive change on a global level by letting people know they matter. As your positive life strategist, I am here to help you take hopeful steps forward, creating a life filled with love, purpose, and meaning.
