Mother’s Day:

To those new mom’s adjusting to motherhood in all it’s glory and challenges.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s with special needs children who feel alone in the ‘normal child’ world.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s who are afraid for their children due to some people in society not approving of who they truly are.
I see you. You are loved.
To the want-to-be mom’s who are having a hard time getting pregnant and feel something is wrong with them because of it.
I see you. You are loved.
To the mom’s taking care of their children with serious illness and are worried and exhausted.
I see you. You are loved.
To the mom’s who have chosen not to breastfeed or cannot breastfeed and are chastised because of it.
I see you. You are loved.
To the mom’s who are nursing their babies and told not to do it in public.
I see you. You are loved.
To the stay at home mom’s that feel looked down upon.
I see you. You are loved.
To the working mom’s who feel guilty for working whether it’s because they want to work or have to work.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s who have lost a beloved child whether in utero, days old, weeks or months old, a teenager or their 50 year old child.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s who have children in harms way whether it be in your neighborhood, your child dealing with addictions, or they have chosen careers that put them in harms way.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s who send their kids to school praying their child doesn’t become a statistic of gun violence.
I see you. You are loved.
To all the mom’s with missing children and you don’t know where they are and if they are safe.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s who are struggling with their own personal hardships in life and trying not to inflict their hurt on their children.
I see you. You are loved.
To those mom’s who can’t be with their children right now and miss them.
I see you. You are loved.

To all who are mother figures to those they love.

I see you. You are loved.

To all who had a mom that was so personally broken and hurt that she couldn’t be the mom you deserved and you ache seeing all those loving up their mom’s right now.
I see you. You are loved.
To all missing their mom’s who are now living in the stars and unsure how life will be good again without her.
I see you. You are loved.
To all caring for an elder or ill mom and the challenges you face with her.
I see you. You are loved.
To all the mom’s celebrating with their families.
I see you. You are loved.
To my Momma, your first in the stars. Your first with your MOM in decades. I thank you for being the mom I needed. For being the woman who taught me that love, kindness, and fortitude will get you through anything. For taking care of me for so many years and allowing me to take care of you in the end. For cheering on the birds with me. For being an example of what love, kindness, and compassion look like and behave like.
I miss you. I see you. You are so very much loved.
