A new month often feels like a fresh start. Not because everything suddenly changes when the calendar turns, but because it gives us an opportunity to pause and ask ourselves what we want more of in our lives.
As I thought about June, I found myself reflecting on how many meaningful experiences in my life began with a single step. Standing on the ice in Antarctica. Starting the Global Hug Club. Meeting incredible people from all walks of life. None of it happened because I had everything figured out. It happened because I was willing to take one step, then another.
Over the years, I have learned that clarity rarely arrives all at once. Whether I am pursuing a dream, planning a trip, or talking with someone about the changes they want to make in their life, the same lesson keeps showing up: we do not need the entire path to move forward. We need the next step.
Moving forward, I invite you to…
Listen to what is calling you.
What idea, dream, or possibility keeps showing up in your thoughts? Sometimes the things that keep returning are worth paying attention to.
Choose one step.
You do not need to have the entire journey figured out. What is one action you can take today that moves you closer to what matters most?
Release the need to know everything.
Clarity often comes after we begin, not before. Give yourself permission to move forward without having all the answers.
Celebrate your courage.
Every step forward counts. Give yourself credit for showing up, trying something new, and continuing to grow.
As you move through June, I encourage you to be gentle with yourself. You do not need to know exactly how everything will unfold. You only need to be willing to take the next step.
And if you find yourself wanting support along the way, I would love to walk beside you. Helping people gain clarity, build confidence, and create more of what they want in their lives is some of the most meaningful work I do.
Here’s to one step, then another.
Affirmation
I trust my next step.
