Are you willing to listen? I mean, truly listen.
I encourage you to listen to the experts, listen to family and friends, listen to colleagues, listen to the weatherman, and listen to me, 😉 but mostly I encourage you to listen to your heart.
Your heart wants you to know that you are doing the best you can, and that is enough.
Your heart wants you to know to keep going, even when it seems hard.
Your heart wants you to ask for support when you need it.
Your heart wants you to CELEBRATE even your smallest victory and allow that to expand.
Your heart wants you to know that you aren’t alone in the world, even if you feel that to be true. LOVE is in front of you, beside you, behind you, over you, beneath you, and IN you.
If you are ready to listen up, I encourage you to do so by:
Step 1: Closing your eyes and putting your hand over your heart. Now, ask it, ‘who do I want to be? How do I want to show up? How do I want to feel?’ Sit with that for a moment and let the LOVE your heart is sending you fill every fiber of your being.
Step 2: With your hand still on your heart, affirm…
I am worthy of the dreams I am dreaming.
If that feels too big to step into, affirm…
I am in the process of feeling worthy of the dreams I am dreaming.
Fill yourself up with gentle, kind, and LOVING words. You may not believe them to be true today, but they will begin to feel real with daily practice.
Step 3: Pay attention. Step into deep gratitude for where you have been, where you are today, and where you are going. Notice the little signs that your heart conveys to you that you are LOVED simply by being you. Your bank account isn’t a reflection of your worthiness. Your education isn’t a reflection of your worthiness. Your health isn’t a reflection of your worthiness. Your heart knows the truth… and that is you are worthy simply because you are here.
Step 4: When fear visits, and it will. Put your hand on your heart, take some deep breaths, and reconnect your energy to your heart. You are LOVE, and nobody can take that away from you. Others may tell you that you aren’t worthy; that is probably their own inner conflict. Others may tell you that you aren’t ready, which is probably their own issue of not feeling prepared. Listen up. Listen, listen, listen for guidance from experts, family, friends, and colleagues. I ask you to remember that your strongest guidance comes from you, your heart, your specialness the world needs. Listen up. Are you ready?
Until next time, I hear you. I am listening.
Affirmation:
