Adjusted

Life is full of adjustments. Some are small, like shifting a routine, and some are larger, like rethinking how we show up in the world. For me, the work I do around kindness, love, and creating a life you love naturally flows into my social justice activism. They are not separate parts of me, but for a long time, I wrestled with how to live both fully.

For years, I stayed away from protests because so many were framed around “fighting against,” and that felt counterintuitive to me. Words matter, and I have always been more pro-peace than anti-war. The energy of resistance did not match how I wanted to live. But eventually, I realized that if I genuinely care about justice, I needed to adjust. That adjustment was not about abandoning my values, but about broadening my perspective. While I may not use the exact words others do, I can still stand alongside them, honoring both my truth and theirs.

Moving forward, I invite you to adjust living a life you love by:

Determining what matters most.

Adjustments do not mean compromising your values. They help you stay rooted while allowing flexibility in areas that leave space for growth.

Checking your alignment.

If something feels heavy, pause and ask whether a gentle adjustment could bring more peace and ease.

Honoring different perspectives.

Even if you choose different words or actions, recognizing the variety of ways people navigate life can help alleviate stress and foster deeper compassion.

Giving yourself grace.

Adjustments are not failures. They are signs of learning and growth.

I continue to learn that adjustments allow me to stay centered and open at the same time. You never have to give up who you are, but you can allow space for shifts that support your well-being. If you are ready to explore adjustments that make your life lighter and more fulfilling, I would love to help you.

Affirmation:

I welcome gentle adjustments.
