Are You Dreaming Big Enough?

Are you a dreamer and LOVE daydreaming about what is to come? Or, are you a realist and you need to see evidence of its existence before you can believe it’s happening? I can be both, but mostly I’m a dreamer. I’m also the ‘want to know girl’. I believe in my dreams, I just want to know the when and how they are coming to fruition. 🙂

I recently had the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite speakers, Iyanla Vanzant. She always seems to be able to get straight to the issue. Oh, and she’s ridiculously funny too. I’ve seen her speak many times as I have also worked with her. This one, in particular, seemed to be directed right at me, as if she was talking directly to me about one of my biggest dreams… my hug movement.

Within the first five minutes, she spoke about the importance of hugs and how people didn’t get enough. She had us hug our neighbors. Then later in her speech, she talked about how one of her dreams took 11 years to manifest. I often get frustrated as I’ve been doing hugs now for 11 years, and although it’s amazing and I LOVE it, it hasn’t grown the way I dream it to be. She talked about having faith in your dreams, and just because they haven’t happened doesn’t mean they won’t. That your dreams are already within you, you need to have faith to birth them. She mentioned the twists and turns we go through in life aren’t signs saying your dream isn’t happening, but rather they are there to prepare you for the bigness of your dream. And if you didn’t have a little dribble of pee running down your leg, you weren’t dreaming big enough. LOL

Just before I went to her show, I got the idea to offer one million hugs around the world with yours truly and my world huggers. So having her share the importance of hugs and the 11 years of one of her dreams was just what I needed. The 1 Million Hug Movement is now open for business. I’ve revamped my Positive Focus website and excited to watch it grow.

So, what is it you are dreaming about in your life? Are you dreaming of a LOVING life partner? A meaningful occupation you LOVE doing? Perhaps it’s the ideal health you are dreaming of? Maybe it’s better financing, traveling, or a dream home that has your attention. Whatever your dreams are, I would LOVE to know what you are dreaming about as I will hold that intention with you, so email me.

Moving forward, I invite you to dream away by:

Declaring your dreams. Whether you speak them out loud or write them down, give them the attention and energy to grow.

Sharing your dreams with trusted LOVED ones that you know can see the highest vision of your dreams coming true. Avoid sharing them with the people who will only tell you how they won’t work.

Having faith in yourself and your dreams. If it’s something you are passionate about, it lives within you. It’s your job to creating a fertile nurturing space for it to birth and grow.

Celebrating your friend’s and family’s dreams that are manifesting. The more you are in the space of LOVE, happiness, and celebration, the more you are inviting your dreams to unfold.

Being okay with the frustration, the delays, or anything that comes up that makes you stumble for a moment. That’s part of growing the dream not tearing it down.

Being okay for the dream to twist and turn into new ways being. It’s not only okay for your dream to evolve, it should.

Mostly, my wish for you is to know that you are worthy of your dreams simply because you have them.

Until next time, dream BIG… and then DREAM BIGGER.

Big hugs,

Carol
