Over the weekend, I was clearing out some things in my desk area. I’m not much of a keeper of stuff, so it was mostly papers that needed to be tossed or filed away. In the process, I came across an award I received in 2023 from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. I was named Volunteer of the Year.
It’s a really nice plaque, and I had it boxed away in my desk.
