Plant Possibilities

As spring shows up here in the Western Hemisphere, it reminds me how much can change with time, attention, and care. I went out looking for spring this past weekend and found it. I spotted a few robins and some early flowers beginning to bloom and felt that familiar shift in the air—a reminder that growth is happening, even if it’s still early.

This season is a great time to consider what we’re planting in our lives. Whether it’s a new idea, a big dream, or simply more peace or purpose, the same rule applies—what we nurture is what grows.

Fear, doubt, and uncertainty will appear because they’re part of the process. But we don’t have to give them all of our energy. We can notice them and then shift our focus to what we want to create. It’s not about ignoring challenges but facing them with gentleness and grace while moving toward the life we want to build. Not just for ourselves but for the world we want to live in.

As a positivity coach, I work with people ready to shift their focus from fear to possibility—who want to build a life rooted in love, intention, and action. That doesn’t mean it’s always easy, but it does mean we don’t have to do it alone. Whether you’re just starting or deep in the work, I’m here to help you keep planting what matters.

Moving forward, I invite you to nurture your dreams by:

Start your day with a simple intention.

Pick one word or phrase each morning that reflects how you want to show up or what you’re growing—like clarity, courage, or calm—and let it guide your day. My ‘Create the Life You Love‘ deck can help you.

Speak about your dreams with belief.

Pay attention to the way you talk about the things you want. Shift from “I hope someday” to “I’m working toward…” Let your words support what you’re growing.

Refocus when fear shows up.

When fear or self-doubt kicks in, acknowledge it—but don’t stay stuck there. Take a breath, then ask yourself, “What’s one small thing I can do right now to move forward?”

Take one small, meaningful action.

Big dreams grow from small steps. Send the email, sign up for the class, write the first paragraph. Even one action can create momentum.

This season, let kindness be how you approach your dreams and challenges. You don’t have to do it all at once. Just keep showing up, one small step at a time, and trust that what you’re planting has the power to grow—both in your life and in the world around you. And if you’d like support along the way, I’d love to be part of your journey.

Affirmation:

I choose to give my energy to what I want to grow.
