I’ve meant to write this for months, and it’s finally happening. As many of you know, last November, I embarked on a life-changing journey to Antarctica—an experience that left me in awe. Since returning, I’ve wanted to share every detail, every breathtaking moment, but for one reason or another, I kept putting it off. Yes, life is busy, and there are always distractions, but the truth is, I could have made the time. And yet, I finally sat down to do what I’ve been putting off for so long. It seems that, for whatever reason, now was the perfect time to reflect and share.
So, here it is—CLICK HERE to revisit my Antarctica journey!
Are there things in your life you’ve been putting off? It could be something minor, like finally organizing that drawer or scheduling an appointment you’ve been avoiding. Or it could be something bigger that requires planning and preparation, like starting a new project or taking the next step in your career. We often delay things we know we can accomplish, whether big or small. But here’s the thing—sometimes just starting, even in a small way, creates momentum.
Moving forward, I encourage you to:
Take one small step today. Start something you’ve been delaying, even if it’s just five minutes. Once you begin, you might find it’s not as overwhelming as you imagined.
Create a plan. Break bigger tasks down into manageable steps. Outline what needs to be done and set reasonable deadlines for each part.
Stay accountable. Share your intention with someone you trust. Whether it’s a friend or colleague, having someone check in with you can help keep you on track.
Celebrate progress, not perfection. Every step you take, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. Acknowledge your progress rather than waiting for everything to be perfect.
Getting something done that you’ve been putting off feels great. It’s not just about checking a box—it’s about freeing up energy and making room for what truly matters. So, take that first step today!
Until next time, do something.
