I recently had a conversation with someone discussing the difficulties they faced in an important relationship. It was a relationship in that they were putting the other person’s happiness above their own, thus struggling. I reminded them, as I have had to remind myself, and I want to remind you, that your inner peace is important. Other people enhance or detract from your life, but you are the one that makes it. Please know that choosing LOVE sometimes means choosing to go, and that’s okay.
Can I be LOVING and still leave? – Yes
Can I be kind and still leave? – Yes
Can I be compassionate and still leave? – Yes
Can I be peaceful and still leave? – Yes
Sometimes you can lessen your time spent with your challenging relationships, and sometimes, leaving is the best way to remain in LOVE, kindness, compassion, and peace.
That doesn’t mean leaving early and not trying if that experience or relationship is important to you, but it does suggest going if staying interferes with your peace of mind most of the time.
You deserve to have peace of mind. You deserve to have healthy relationships in all aspects of your life. And, you deserve to leave if that is what brings you peace.
Affirmation:
I choose to be LOVING, kind, compassionate, and peaceful.
